First registered January 1972 (K reg) this wonderful Series III E-Type Roadster is an original home market, Right Hand Drive manual gearbox example and remains in its original colour combination of Old English White over Red Hide interior. Sold by us to its most recent keeper in April 2022, unfortunately the owners health means he can no longer enjoy the car. The odometer shows 87,000 miles and although we cannot warrant the mileage we believe it to be correct. The E-Type Series III was introduced in 1971, with a new ground-breaking 272 bhp 5.3 litre, V12 engine, uprated brakes, and standard power steering. 272bhp and a 0-60mph acceleration of less than seven seconds. The longer wheelbase now offered significantly more room and comfort in all directions less than 1,900 Right Hand Drive Roadsters were produced. Previously the E-Type has won various concours events and has clearly been well cared for throughout its life. The paintwork presents in very good order with little sign of age and the leather shows a wonderful patina that can only be gained through age and careful maintenance. In October 2021 the E-Type was treated to much renovation work carried out by E-Type Specialists, WinSpeed of Guildford. The invoice totalling almost £7,200 and included comprehensive work to the engine, gearbox and ancillaries. More recently this Jaguar has been treated to a new set of Blockley tyres.

The history file details previous sales invoices, old MoT test certificates, concours winning certificates, sundry invoices and the most recent invoice from WinSpeed.

Although we will put the car through our workshop for a thorough inspection and MoT our initial view is she is good to go!
