Vehicle Description and History
This 1970 Porsche 911 2.2 T Coupé, corresponding to the 1971 Model Year, is a highly collectible example, as confirmed by its Porsche Certificate of Origin issued on 8 December 2020. The certificate places the car within the official production range from 1 August 1970 to 31 July 1971.
Originally destined for the Swiss market, it was invoiced on 1 September 1970 and first registered in the Ticino Canton with plate TI155280.
The certificate also confirms:
matching numbers (engine and chassis),
original exterior and interior colours,
factory-installed front and rear stabilisers (code 404).
Imported into Italy in 1988 and registered in Rovigo, the car arrived in excellent original condition, in line with Switzerland’s strict technical inspection standards. After several owners in the Veneto region, in January 2014 it became part of a prestigious collection in Verona, known for its significant Porsche, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo and Ferrari models. The collector – a well-known gentleman driver – chose it for its originality and preservation.
Despite its excellent condition, the car underwent careful mechanical, bodywork and upholstery work carried out by well-known specialists, bringing it to an impeccable level. Over the following years it covered fewer than 6,000 km, always properly maintained. The mandatory Italian technical inspection (revisione) is valid until April 2027.
Four new Yokohama tyres were recently fitted, and a sports exhaust is currently installed, with the original exhaust included.
Its stabilisers, slightly lowered front setup, Recaro seats, Nardi wooden wheel, and right-hand mirror enhance driving pleasure and comfort.
The period Blaupunkt radio, perfectly integrated in the dashboard, is particularly rare.
Also equipped with a battery cut-off switch and a fire extinguisher.
